About…

I’m currently Assistant Professor (non tenure-track, “ricercatore a tempo determinato – type A” in the Byzantine Italian system), working at the department of Mathematics of the University of Milan.

Before that, I’ve worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Regensburg. My position was funded by the SFB 1085/1 “Higher Invariants” in the research group of Prof. Dr. Moritz Kerz (wiki here).

Before coming to Regensburg, I was a graduate student at the University of Duisburg-Essen. My Ph.D. advisor was Marc N. Levine (wiki here).

Even before, I studied at the University of Paris XI – Orsay and at the University of Milan.

I work on algebraic and arithmetic geometry, but I am interested in a variety of topics. I like algebraic cycles, K-theory, motives, regulators, class field theory, modular forms and L-functions.
